The mission of Abe Brown Ministries is to break cycles of incarceration by helping to renew the minds of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated citizens, motivating them to change their behaviors and achieve purposeful lives. We do this as a compassionate demonstration of the love of Jesus Christ.

WHY IT MATTERS
Impact on
Hillsborough County
- Hillsborough County is consistently ranked among the top three counties in Florida for its total incarcerated population, with local detention facilities housing an average daily population of roughly 3,400 to 3,700 inmates.
- Approximately 2,000 prisoners are released to Hillsborough County each year.
- Without intervention and assistance, many fall through the cracks of society and return to a life of crime and incarceration.
